A BRICKLAYER who bludgeoned a customer to dying in a row over extension work acted "utterly normal" for 3 days after the horror, his wife claims.

Peter Norgrove, 43, has now been jailed for all times with a minimum of 14 years after pleading responsible to murder.

CCTV proven in court showed Norgrove calmly packing up his automotive after the brutal assault with blood masking his trousers.

Now his spouse Rebecca – who stated the work was Norgrove's first constructing job – has informed how he continued to act "utterly usually" for 3 days after.

Chatting with MailOnline, she defined: "He couldn't plan a surprise celebration for me, I might all the time realise something was up.&

"However I detected nothing unusual (over those three days), which is why I actually consider he had misplaced all memory of what he did."

Rebecca was the one handy in her husband's bloodied clothes after discovering them hidden in the wheelie bin at her mother's residence.

A police sniffer dog then found the hammer he used to kill Sharon in the nearby shed.

In a sufferer influence statement, Sharon's daughter stated Norgrove had acted like a "wolf in sheep's clothing".

On July 21, concerned associates went to Sharon's home when she failed to show up to work and found her lifeless by the steps.

She was discovered with extreme head injuries, which had been inflicted the day before today.

Norgrove at first claimed he had left the property the day gone by but his lies have been exposed when officers discovered the hammer.

Detective Inspector Damian Forrest, of West Midlands Police, stated: "This appears to have been a disagreement over work carried out at the victim's property which has escalated into violence.

"I am happy the defendant has pleaded responsible on the earliest alternative and spared Mrs. Gordon's family the ordeal of a trial."
