TONY Romo has claimed he was solely joking when he referred to Taylor Swift as Travis Kelce's spouse on the AFC Championship recreation.
The CBS announcer, 43, made a similar comment concerning the loved-up couple on a number of broadcasts through the regular NFL season.
Romo was alongside Jim Nantz in the CBS sales space as he referred to Swift as Kelce's "spouse" again last weekend.
Fans asked in December if the previous NFL quarterback "is aware of something we don't" after he continued to repeat the line.

On Thursday, Romo addressed reporters in a digital press conference and was asked concerning the quip.
And he claimed it was simply all a misunderstanding over his brand of humor.
"It's a joke. I know typically individuals don't assume so. Typically the humor doesn't go over as properly", Romo stated, per Awful Announcing.
"Individuals come as much as me all the time they usually say, 'What have you learnt [about Travis and Taylor].
"'Do you assume they're going to be [married]?' And the whole lot."
The Chiefs booked their place in Super Bowl LVIII with a 17-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Swift watched the victory from a personal suite at M&T Financial institution Stadium earlier than joining Kelce to celebrate his AFC title on the sector.
The pair went public with their romance in September and Taylor is planning to jet in from Japan to observe her man go for a third Super Bowl ring on February 11.
