THE Ford Fiesta has been named on the list of the best cars you can buy for under £5,000.
Motor experts from online marketplace Carwow revealed their picks for the top bargain rides in Britain today, including a "perfect city car". The list includes the Peugeot 208, the Ford Ka, the Citroen C1 and the Nissan Note.
This comes as Martin Lewis warned motorists they could accidentally commit fraud in an attempt to save money on their car insurance.
Speaking on Martin Lewis's Money Saving Expert newsletter, he explained: "Never add a parent (or someone else) as a main driver if they aren't.
"This is 'fronting' and it's fraud. It'll be checked if you claim and the insurance will be invalid if you're caught. You could even be prosecuted. Don't do it."
