Democrats face an 'uphill climb' in North Carolina with Kamala Harris but they no longer are 'pulling teeth'
In Guilford County, North Carolina, home of Greensboro and High Point, it was difficult to get Democrats involved or excited about the presidential race. 'It was like pulling teeth to get people to volunteer before,' recalled county Democratic party chair Kathy Kirkpatrick. People did not want to come out and knock on doors when President Biden was at the top of the ticket. They didn't want to make phone calls or write postcards.
