Washington Capitals color commentator and retired NHL star Craig Laughlin was the recipient of an outpouring of support from players and fans alike on Tuesday after it was revealed he had successful open-heart surgery. The 67-year-old Laughlin underwent the procedure to repair a bicuspid aortic valve and a blocked left anterior descending artery. His daughter Courtney revealed the good news on social media while cautioning fans he 'still has a long way to go on his road to recovery.
