SUN on Sunday readers have helped increase £10,000 for mind tumour woman Mercy Cuthbertson in just a week.
The five-year-old now needs simply £10,000 more to get remedy that may hopefully save her life.
Yesterday, Mercy, from North Tyneside, squealed with pleasure behind the wheel of a bus and loved a VIP journey courtesy of Go North East, which has donated £500.
Mercy stated: "I really like buses so this has been superb."
Her mother and father have already raised £80,000 in the direction of the £100,000 goal which might permit her to take part in certainly one of two medical trials abroad.
Mum Lorraine, 43, a police chief inspector, stated: "We're so grateful.
