The first episode of the current season drew an average of 2.9 million viewers, a disappointing drop from last year's 3.6 million. This has sparked fears that Dancing On Ice, which debuted in 2006 with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as hosts, has 'reached the end of the road.
