Although Dorset Police confirmed that 4 individuals sustained injuries in the incident, the ambulance service stated five have been taken to hospital.
It isn't recognized how critical the injuries are however one casualty was taken to Southampton Hospital which is a serious trauma centre.
A suspect was arrested on the scene in reference to the incident.

A spokeswoman for Bournemouth and Poole School stated: "We understand that an incident has occurred outdoors the Bournemouth Campus of Bournemouth and Poole School this afternoon.
"Police are presently in attendance, and our workforce is aiding them as required.
