He had been carrying out building work at her house on Thursday July 20, 2022.
CCTV exhibits Norgrove tidying away constructing gadgets in Mrs Gordon's again garden before putting a bucket – containing the hammer – on the patio.
The clip then exhibits Norgrove putting on a pair of purple gloves earlier than heading inside the house.&
Just 20 minutes later, Norgrove appears on digital camera again – and is seen casually strolling back to his automotive with blood on his trousers.
Police later found blood-stained gadgets in a wheelie bin and the murder weapon stashed in a shed.
Norgove admitted murder at Wolverhampton Crown Courtroom and was jailed for all times at the moment to serve a minimum of 15 years.
The Court heard the killer had met Sharon by means of mutual pals at the church they both attended.
He had been finishing up constructing work on an extension at her house in Dudley, West Midlands, but there were issues.
In a victim impression statement, Sharon's daughter stated Norgrove had acted like a "wolf in sheep's clothing".
Rhian Brown also stated the killer repeatedly lied to her concerning the work he was doing and stretched it over 15 months as an alternative of 15 weeks.
She added: "He took full cost for the extension prematurely, which we consider to be more than £30,000.
"He drove my Mom mad with stress and nervousness – she noted every part down.
"She had notebooks, receipts, the whole lot, because of how dangerous this man's workmanship was."
On July 21, involved buddies went to Sharon's home when she failed to show up to work and located her lifeless by the steps.
She was found with severe head injuries, which had been inflicted the day before today.
Norgrove at first claimed he had left the property yesterday but his lies have been exposed when officers found the hammer.
Detective Inspector Damian Forrest, of West Midlands Police, stated: "This seems to have been a disagreement over work carried out on the sufferer's property which has escalated into violence.
"I am happy the defendant has pleaded responsible on the earliest opportunity and spared Mrs. Gordon's family the ordeal of a trial."
